Motion Scrapbook Layouts & Options
Each Motion Scrapbook contains moving images, audio, and text of your choice. A standard Motion Scrapbook contains three parts, separated by three songs.

Titles & Words
Text is a great way to introduce a movie section. You can include two lines with ten characters each (for a total of twenty characters) and animate the words on screen.

Example: Our Wedding Day 15 characters (includes spaces)

Music
Choose your favourite songs for inclusion in your Motion Scrapbook.  The song length will determine the number of photos you can include.  You can choose the order of pictures or we can select the order that best suits each song.  Songs may be edited if necessary.

Photographs Arrangement
You may send developed/printed photographs and digital pictures to build the movie as well as video footage from DVD, VHS, or mini DV tapes. We can determine a suitable order of your photographs to match the music; however, if you would like your pictures to appear in a particular order on the movie, they must be divided into separate sections as follows.

•	Digital pictures may be transferred by CD, DVD, or USB in .jpg format. Create a separate folder for each movie section, named by the appropriate section number; e.g., place all images to go in the first part in folder Number One, all the images to go in the second part in folder Number Two, etc. Just as the folders need to be named, each picture must be named to match the order they are to appear; e.g., 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg, etc. The first picture of the first part will be in folder Number One and will be named 1.jpg. The next picture will be in folder Number One with the name 2.jpg. The first picture in the second part will be in folder Number Two and will be named 1.jpg.

•	Developed/printed photographs must be removed from albums and divided into separate envelopes for each song. Clearly label each envelope with the part to be used: first, second, third, etc. Photographs should be placed in order, with the first one on top, in each envelope. Label the back of each photograph with order number using a pencil or a sticky note. Do not use a pen or marker as this may show through when we scan the photos.

To use both digital and developed/printed photographs, you’ll use both techniques mentioned above. For example, if the first picture in the movie is developed/printed, include it in an envelope labeled Number One, and marked #1 on the back. If the second picture is digital, it should be on the CD, DVD, or USB drive in Folder #1 and will be named 2.jpg. If the first picture in the second part is digital, it should be on the CD, DVD, or USB drive in folder #2 and named 1.jpg. If the second picture in the second section is developed/printed, it should be in folder #2 and marked #2 on the back. The numbers must fit together. Do not label the developed/printed pictures the same as the digital images. The numbers missing in the paper envelope will appear in the digital folder.
